One of the best places in the valley for a chili dog. The hot dogs are snappy and the chili is tasty, not overpowering, oily or salty like most establishments. I've been coming to Cupids for over 30 years and very little has changed. The menu has gotten bigger to include sandwiches but the chili is why you're here. Their meat chili is my absolute favorite and you can order a large container of just chili to go. Lines can be long during lunch but there's plenty of parking and decent seating if you're lucky.

My dad took me here all the time when I was younger, sadly he passed away a couple months back. I've been eating at the back tables where we would sit usually. Hot dogs are elite! Featuring fries from daglas

Established in 1946. Cupid's Hot Dogs is a no frills hot dog stand with only a couple locations left (Winnetka and Chatsworth). I remember the Northridge location growing up in the SFV (no longer there). This location in Winnetka keeps it simple: hot dogs (4 kinds), Chips, Drinks. The hot dogs have a wonderful snap to them. The chili is on the blander side and thin consistency- you either love it or don't. I like their Reuben Dog; it has sauerkraut, cheese, and mustard. Yummy! There is a cute small outside patio on the premises. It's shaded by trees. Pay Cash and get 4% off. Cards accepted as well. Private Parking is available on their private lot.

Originally opened in 1946 Cupid's is a famous spot in Los Angeles to grab a great hotdog. They have many locations in the valley, this being the southernmost one. Cupid was a nickname of the founder's wife and now it is in the third generation of the family. They have a very large free parking lot attached, and the service was truly great. The employee behind the counter was super sweet and she was very helpful. It was our first time so we wanted to try a mix of items. We ordered the Cupid, the Triangle, and the Reuben. I would suggest adding cheese to the Cupid and the Triangle, which is what we did. All three were really good and the dog itself was very thin but snappy. The whole meal really hit the spot. I also got a cup of chili and thought it was great. Overall, a great place to grab a great hotdog.

Cupid's Hot Dogs, Winnetka [4.5 Stars]: A Delightful Hot Dog Experience with Fresh Ingredients and Excellent Service During a visit on a busy night when another Cupid's location was closing, I found myself at Cupid's Hot Dogs in Winnetka. Here's my experience: Despite the rush, the service was top-notch with attentive and hard-working staff. I ordered a variety of hot dogs, including 5 Cupid Dogs, 2 Chicago dogs, and 2 Rueben dogs. Each dog was a testament to quality, especially the Cupid Dogs which pleasantly lacked the over-saltiness found in other famous locations. The Chicago dog was a burst of freshness, packed with a variety of fresh toppings. What stood out was the recommendation to order them "Open" - a pro tip for preserving the perfect presentation of these delicious dogs. This simple but effective advice reflects the care that goes into each order. Rubric Scores: Value: 4/5 - Good value for the quality and portion. Food: 5/5 - Excellent taste and freshness. Presentation: 4/5 - Well maintained, especially when ordered "Open." Service: 5/5 - Exceptionally attentive and efficient. Physical Location: 4/5 - Comfortable and inviting, based on the overall positive experience. Final Thoughts: Cupid's Hot Dogs in Winnetka is more than just a hot dog stand; it's a place where quality, service, and freshness come together to create a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone in search of a great hot dog!

Can't believe it took us so long to visit here. Amazing food, service, art. Casual and interesting ambience. Thanks for the memories and the nourishment. Excited to return soon. We got the Chicago Dogs after a recent trip to Chicago. Toppings and presentation were WOW. The wiener itself was not quite the same. Not bad, I say. Just a bit different. Still, a wonderful way to ease the craving of a Chicago Dog. Very affordable! Thanks!
